My wife came back few days ago from Dubai. She had travelled with my
best friend and business partner for business. She is really skilled on
presentation hence she had to go in my place. The business was
successful but right now I don’t know if I should be happy or Sad.
I noticed she hasn’t being herself since she returned from that trip, even while breaking the good news to me, I just couldn’t feel the excitement.
Last night after much persuasion to tell me what was bugging her, she
finally woke me up around 2am and made me swear on the life of our son
not to overreact, that what she was about to tell me was a mistake and
really not her fault. I made the promise not to overreact.
She went on to tell me her after the success of the presentation, she
went out with my so called friend to celebrate, she won’t lie they were
both wasted on alcohol, they went back to her room and continued
gisting.
Finally SOME HOW (in her words) they both fell asleep on the bed and woke up to discover they both made love.
Now she also swears that it was never an intentional act by my friend
as he too was full of regrets, that she had to tell me because she
couldn’t live with that guilt and that my friend is waiting for her to
break it to me so he could come fall on his knees to apologize.
