Commercial boat rider drown in Delta community

 

A commercial boat rider, Jerry Omubire has drowned after his boat capsized in Keyagbene Community in Warri South-West Local
Government Area of Delta State.‎
His lifeless body was found floating in the river at about 1 a.m. on Friday.

A younger sister of the deceased, Umusu Kefe, who spoke to BLINDWITNESS, confirmed the report, noting that the late Jerry finished repairing his boat and went to test it.‎

Kefe claimed that a search party was conducted for the deceased to no avail.
According to her, “He just finished repairing his boat and went to test it, on the process, the boat capsized. We later saw him around 1 a.m. yesterday morning.”
Kefe also described his death as a painful loss to their family.
